First Changes Winter School on
System Analysis and Integrated Modelling in Climate Change Research

The Doctorate School in Global Change Science and Policy (ChangeS) is a consortium of three Italian universities (Ca' Foscari, Salento and Sassari), established in 2008 in collaboration with the Euro-Mediterranean Centre for Climate Change (CMCC), with the aim of promoting and coordinating advanced studies on climate change impacts and policy. The School supports and organises advanced training and research activities with emphasis on the development of innovative management strategies for both physical and socio-economic climate related phenomena. This First Winter School has been held in Venice at Ca' Foscari University from 3th to 6th February 2009 and the theme is "System Analysis and Integrated Modelling in Climate Change Research", a set of very important topics, methods commonly used for the analysis and modelling of several phenomena related to global change, such as land use and land cover changes.

ADMISSION

The Winter School is targeted to doctoral and post-doctoral students.
All PhD Students may apply however the priority will be given to the Changes PhD Students.
There is no participation fee.
